The two teams ended regulation scoreless, with FC New York playing down a player after receiving a red card in the 22nd minute. The game was still scoreless after extra time and headed into penalty kicks. After seven rounds, FC New York downed the Freedom.

Fire will face Rhinos in Rochester

HARRISBURG, Pa.---The Chicago Fire will face the Rochester Rhinos in the third round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. The Rhinos advanced after a 90th minute penalty kick by Tony Donatelli gave them a 1-0 win and eliminated the Harrisburg City Islanders Tuesday night.
