Morelia 3, Chiapas 2
Carlos Morales converted an 84th-minute penalty kick to lift last-place Morelia to their first win of the Clausura, 3-2 over Chiapas Friday at Estadio Morelos.

Horacio Cervantes staked Jaguares to a 1-0 lead with a 23rd-minute header. Morelia surged into the lead with a second-half flurry of two goals in one minute, starting when Jefferson Cuero came off the bench to set up Mauro Cejas for a 20-yard blast in the 67th minute. Erick Aguirre forced a turnover and made the score 2-1 in the 68th. Andres Andrade leveled things for Jaguares in the 75th.

A foul by Sergio Garcia sent Morales to the spot for the deciding pk.

Monarcas move into 16th place at 1-3-4 and 6 points. The loss leaves Chiapas at 3-2-3 (11).

Tijuana 3, Pachuca 2
Juan Arango led the way with two goals as Tijuana (6-1-1, 19 pts) rallied to edge Pachuca 3-2 Friday at Estadio Caliente.

Dayro Moreno capped the league-leading Xolos' three-goal second-half comeback with a 90th-minute game-winner.

The Tuzos (3-1-4, 10) took a commanding 2-0 lead before the intermission. Diego de Buen opened the scoring off a corner kick in the 12th minute and Rodolfo Pizarro snagged a rebound to double Pachuca's lead in the 36th. However, Pachuca were left shorthanded when defender Aquivaldo Mosquera received his second yellow card and was sent off in the 57th minute. Arango already had started Xolos' comeback, sending a free kick inside the top left corner in the 56th minute. He knotted the score 2-2 in the 82nd, off a sharp passing combination with Alfredo Moreno, who also set the table for Dayro Moreno's wide-open capper.

Leones Negros 1, America 0
Leones Negros (2-1-5, 7 pts) stunned Club America 1-0 Saturday at Estadio Azteca.

Luis Telles scored the game's only goal, connecting from the top of the arc in the 32nd minute to snap U de G's four-game losing streak.

The Aguilas (4-2-2, 14) went into full meltdown in the final ten minutes, finishing two men down after red cards to defender Pablo Aguilar in the 84th minute and midfielder Jose Daniel Guerrero in stoppage time.

Puebla 4, Queretaro 1
Matias Alustiza scored two first-half goals to lead Puebla past Queretaro 4-1 Saturday at Estadio Cuauhtemoc.

Flavio Santos headed home a corner kick served by Mauricio Romero to put La Franja (4-2-2, 14 pts) on the board in the 20th minute, and Alustiza turned the match into a rout with long-range blasts in the 34th and 45th.

Emanuel Villa took one back for the Gallos Blancos (1-2-5, 5) in the 52nd minute, only to see John Pajoy counter off another Puebla corner four minutes later.

Tigres 3, Pumas 0
Tigres romped past shorthanded Pumas 3-0 Saturday at Estadio Universitario.

Pumas lost defender Josecarlos Van Rankin to a straight red card in the 20th minute, and it took UANL (4-0-4, 12 pts) only seven minutes to capitalize, with a long-range goal by Rafael Sobis. Joffre Guerron made the score 2-0 in the 38th minute, from just off the goal line, and Jesus Duenas capped the scoring from 22 yards with three minutes left on the clock.

The loss sent Pumas (1-2-5, 5) to the bottom of the Clausura table.

Leon 2, Santos Laguna 1
Leon (3-2-3, 11 pts) scored twice in the final six minutes to snatch a 2-1 win over Santos Laguna (3-1-4, 10) Saturday at Estadio Nou Camp.

Carlos Izquierdos staked the Guerreros to a 1-0 lead in the 23rd minute, snagging a rebound after Adrian Aldrete sent a free kick into the penalty area. Jonathan Bottinelli leveled the score with a header off a corner kick in the 84th, and Jose Vazquez netted the game-winner from the top of the arc in the 90th.

Veracruz 3, Atlas 0
Veracruz romped past Atlas 3-0 Saturday at Estadio Jalisco.

Daniel Villalva netted the game-winner in the 40th minute, and Julio Furch, whose long first-half pass set the table for Villalva's strike, padded the margin with goals in the 77th and 88th.

The Tiburones are in second place at 4-4-0 and 16 points. The seventh-place Zorros fall to 4-1-3 (13).

Toluca 1, Cruz Azul 0
Paulo Da Silva's 77th-minute goal held up as the game winner as Toluca (3-3-2, 12 pts) edged Cruz Azul 1-0 Sunday at Estadio Nemesio Diez.

Lucas Lobos set the table for Da Silva with a corner kick.

La Maquina fall to 4-1-3 (13).

Chivas 3, Monterrey 0
Chivas de Guadalajara (4-2-2, 14 pts) romped past Monterrey 3-0 Sunday at Estadio Omnilife.

Aldo Di Nigris opened the scoring in the 28th minute, minutes after teammate Isaac Brizuela hit the post. The Herd's lead remained 1-0 until the 76th minute, when Raul Lopez netted the first insurance goal. Carlos Salcedo closed things out in the 86th. Both goals came after Rayados defender Stefan Medina was sent off.

Monterrey finish week 8 in 15th place with seven points (2-1-5).
