CHAMPAIGN, Ill. -- Illinois mounted a second-half comeback and tied it thanks to two goals by redshirt-junior Jannelle Flaws, but Nebraska tallied the game-winning goal in the 61st minute, as the Illini fell 3-2 to the Huskers in front of 1,526 fans at SoccerFest on Sunday. Flaws scored twice in under a minute and a half, giving her 12 goals on the season, which is tied for the most in the Big Ten.

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. -- In a physical Friday night match at the Illinois Soccer Stadium, the Illini captured their first Big Ten win with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Iowa. Redshirt-junior Jannelle Flaws scored her team-high 10th goal in the eighth minute, while junior Allie Osoba knocked in the game winner in the 53rd minute off the flip throw-in by senior Megan Pawloski. Freshman goalkeeper Claire Wheatley also made a game-saving stop in the 71st minute on an Iowa penalty kick.

Teams play to 1-1 stalemate

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Illinois jumped out to a quick 1-0 advantage and led for nearly 80 minutes, but Ohio State scored in the 84th minute, which sent the Big Ten opener to overtime, where it ended in a 1-1 draw. Redshirt-junior Jannelle Flaws tallied her team-high ninth goal in the seventh minute and registered a game-high six shots, putting four on frame. UI has played four overtime games in its first nine contests, marking the most in program history to start the season.

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. -- Illinois' first shutout of the season was highlighted by a pair of goals from both sophomore Reagan Robishaw and senior Megan Pawloski in a 4-0 victory over Florida International on Sunday afternoon. The Illini outshot the Panthers 29-7 in a physical match that featured a 15-6 difference in fouls by FIU. UI moved to 4-0 at home and 5-2-1 overall following its final non-conference contest, while FIU dropped to 2-5.

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. -- llinois earned its second come-from-behind victory thanks to three second-half goals on Friday night, topping Indiana State, 3-2. The Illini trailed 1-0 at halftime, but stepped up their play on both sides of the ball in the second half, putting up three goals on the newly unveiled scoreboard and holding Indiana State to just three shots. The Orange and Blue remained undefeated at home (3-0) and improved to 4-2-1 overall, while the Sycamores dropped to 2-4.

Illinois' lone goal came off a strike by senior Vanessa DiBernardo in the 64th minute, but the Wildcats responded in the 82nd minute with their only goal off a penalty kick.
