Milwaukee's Dorre Offensive Player of the Week
INDIANAPOLIS – Krissy Dorre (Joliet, Ill.) of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee has been named the Horizon League Offensive Player of the Week.
The award is the first of Dorre’s career and the fourth for a Panther this season. Amy Kauffung was named offensive player of the week Aug. 27, while Jamie Forbes (Aug. 27) and Hannah Kaul (Oct. 8) have collected defensive honors.
Dorre scored both goals in a 2-1 Milwaukee win last Friday at Green Bay. The win extended the Panthers’ season-high winning streak to three games and put them in a tie for first place. She picked up her first score of the game in the eighth minute unassisted. Then, in the 30th minute, Dorre broke through for the game-winner off assists from Emily Scott and Kelly Lewers.
